Many “Australian” canopies are actually imported flat packed and then installed here straight out of a shipping container and then bolted together.

Is it crash tested and certified?
Most canopies aren’t tested at all. Ours are.
We’ve invested in real crash testing to define the safety standard for canopies and to protect the people who use them.
Is it chassis mounted or just sitting on a tray?
Many canopies are just toolboxes sitting on trays, held down with a few bolts.
It’s heavier, higher, less stable, and dangerous in a collision.
Gitsham canopies are chassis mounted using our crash tested, vehicle specific mounting kits for superior safety and handling.
The canopy can also be transferred to your next vehicle, saving you money and extending its lifespan.
Flush Lip Doorways allow seamless access to stow away and access you goods and tools, no raise lips in the way or wasted space occupied by plinths for slide and drawers.
What’s it made from?
Look beneath the surface. Is it marine grade aluminium or cheaper material?
